Founded in May 2009, ahotu SAS is a fresh little company editing niche websites.

What type of websites?

Websites dealing with complex, geographical and timely information, that traditional search engine may not be able to present and manipulate properly.

The goal of the company is to create original websites tailored for niche markets such as endurance running. ahotu Marathons is the first example of such sites.

Prior to founding ahotu SAS, I have been working for nearly 20 years in the financial information industry, in technical and marketing positions.

I'm a passionate marathon runner. I strongly believe that endurance running is a live changing activity and I want to spread the news.

The Projects

  ahotu Marathons is the sequel to 42k195.com. Based on the feedback from runners and race directors, the site has been totally recreated from scratch to offer :

  • - Easier to use tools to search and access the races,
  • - An extended database that will cover running from half marathons to ultramarathons or multiday events,
  • - More information on each individual race, that users can enrich through tags and links,
  • - ...

  ahotu Marathons is the site to visit for endurance runners who wish to organize their running schedule. The website has replaced 42k195.com.

  ahotu Hotel Locator is a simple but effective mashup designed to help travelers select their hotels according to geographical criteria. The website has been created to expand the hotel booking offering of ahotu Marathons.

  While preparing your next trip to Barcelona, Spain, you would like to book a room in a hotel near Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. Just type in "Sagrada familia, Barcelona" and ahotu hotels will place the nearby hotels on a map and allow you to book the room directly online thanks to our partner Booking.com.
