Buns On The Run Color Craze 5k

This is a family-friendly event sponsored by a local non-profit. The course will take you through the beautiful town of Mt. Pleasant, TN. Come join us for a fun run involving glow-in-the-dark accessories; you can bring your own, or purchase an item or two from a vendor at the pre-race event. Glow sticks will be provided in each participant's swag bag as well. You will be showered with glow-in-the-dark powder tosses  in designated location along the route as well. After the race ends in the heart of downtown Mt. Pleasant, you and your family can stay around for the Mid-South Barbecue Festivities; including the opportunity to show off your dance moves by joining in a on a street dance beginning at 7:30pm. Participants will be bussed from a parking lot located beside 128 N. Main St. (First Farmer's Bank) to 501 Gray Ln. (Mt. Pleasant Community Center) for the pre-race party and packet pick-up beginning at 5pm. The bus will  leave @ 4:45pm, packet pick-up between 5pm-5:45pm, and Race time is 6pm. The route is very runnable, but challenging all the same, because of minor elevation. There is only one aide station located on the route @ approx. 1.5 miles in, so be sure to bring a hand-held water supply if necessary.
