Run the Rail

This event features a half-marathon and marathon along the Northeast Texas Trail, a route repurposed from former railway lines for non-motorized activities. Participants can choose from traditional races or two and four-person relays. The half-marathon starts in DeKalb, while the marathon begins in Red River County, with both finishing in New Boston. Post-race celebrations follow at the finish line, and shuttles are provided for participant transportation. Registration packets are available for pick-up under the Trailhead Pavilion in New Boston.
