Running To Honor 5K Walk (or Run)

The Running To Honor 5K is a family-friendly event aimed at honoring Fallen Soldiers and Veterans while reminding participants that freedom comes at a cost. The event is themed around the Afghanistan War, aiming to educate the community about its history and the sacrifices made. Participants have options for both a 5K and a shorter .5K for kids. Proceeds will benefit the Taylor Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4422 and Running To Honor organizations. Attendees are encouraged to reflect on the contributions of those who served, even if they do not participate in the run or walk.
