Cross Lapland Marathon

The unique and friendly Marathon of Finnish Lapland offers a changing scenery every 200 meters of the run. The route passes along the Kemijoki river, sandy roads, main roads, and across farmlands and towns, back to where it began in the City Centre of Tervola. It is organised to promote Tervola Travel & Tourism. There will be tickets available for either a full marathon or a half marathon each year, alternating between the two (eg. only a half marathon in 2020, 2022, etc. and only a full marathon in 2021, 2023, etc.). The route is 21.09 km long and the timing stops at 3.5 hours. Service points with drinks and first aid are available along the way.
