About the event

In 2009, Turin once again embraced its passion for long-distance running with the 100 Km of the Alps. This 100 Km race of the modern era, with its IAU Bronze label and homologated measurement, has been embraced by passionate runners over the years.The new route will lead participants to run a 10-kilometer circuit, which is to be completed 10 times, in the stunning Valentino Park. This Class A World Athletics certified and approved course will take competitors through some of the beautiful sights of the Savoyard capital. Runners will follow the bank of the Po River towards the city center, before returning to the opposite bank towards Moncalieri, all surrounded by art and nature.

Course details

Course highlights

The route is a 10 km track to be repeated 10 times, as per the Route Approval Certificate issued by FIDAL; it develops on the banks of the PO river, within the Valentino Park. Signals every km, "marathon passage", last kilometre and 100 km. The starting and finishing points of the circuit have been set in a strategic point of the park and more precisely in the widening located between the two walkways, Turin Marathon and Palazzo a Vela, where at the end of the race, the participants in the race will be able to enjoy the services of the plant, as well as being equipped with a large car park (Via XX Miglia 145), where we suggest you park, before reaching the start line by crossing the walkway, where a bag deposit point will be set up.
