18th Race into the New Year 5k & 1/4 Mile Fun Dash

Join the Seashore Striders to close out the year with a 5k out and back course beginning on the boardwalk and running north to the turn-a-round at Gordon’s Pond, Cape Henlopen State Park.

KIDS 1/4 MILE FUN RUN IS FREE WITH NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED AND NO TSHIRT….At 11:50 am the kid’s will race 200m north on the boardwalk and 200m south to the finish line as the 5k runners gather by the finish and cheer on the young runners.

RACE LOCATION: The bandstand at 1 Rehoboth Avenue; Rehoboth Beach, DE. 19971

RACE TIME:  Kids Dash @ 11:50 and 5k at noon.

RACE REGISTRATION:
25.00 Pre-Registration from December 1st – 30th at 11:59 p.m.30.00 Late Registration on race-day from 10:30 – 11:50 a.m.

 2. Race Day/On-Site Registration
Most Seashore Events begin on-site registration 1 hr./60 min before the start of the event.   Some of the larger events (Seashore Half, Seawitch, Pumpkin Pie…) will begin 90 minutes before the start of the event. Some of the larger events will also offer “early packet pick-up the day before”, however most of the Seashore Strider events do everything on race-day.

3. Mail-In Registration 
The Seashore Strider Event Page has a Universal Entry Form attached that can be downloaded and printed outPlease fill out the form completely & neatly double checking Age, Gender, Entry Fee Price (some events have different fee’s) & Event Choice.Mail completed paper registration to:

RACE COURSE: 3.11 mile out & back course from the Boardwalk at Rehoboth Avenue to the entrance to Cape Henlopen State Park at Gordon’s Pond.

RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.

RACE AMENITIES: Long Sleeve 100% Pre-Shrunk Cotton Race shirts guaranteed to all PRE-Registered participants or first 200 whichever comes first…register early!   Refreshments from the Giant and Bagels when available from Surf Bagel.

AWARDS: Overall Male & Female, Master Male & Female, and top 3 finishers in 5 year age groups from 9 & U to 80 & O

RACE PARKING:  Parking will be on Rehoboth Avenue for this event and meters are not in effect.

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL:  The Seashore Striders have a “No Refund” policy, however we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options:  1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year.   2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event or to the Seashore Strider Youth Running program.  3. Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event.  Thank You for your cooperation & understanding as some situations are beyond the control of the Seashore Striders.
