About the event
Building Change is hosting their 5th annual 22 Strong walk to honor and support United States Military veterans. The number 22 is significant to the event because it represents the average number of veterans who lose their lives to suicide every day.
Building Change is dedicated to eliminating veterans suicide. Funds raised throughout this event is donated to organizations that directly impact veterans. In 2022, over $80,000 was donated to the following organizations: FOCUS Marines Foundation, Joshua Chamberlain Society, St. Charles Veterans Museum, Re-Emerge, Got Your Six PTSD Support Dogs, and Six Strings Heroes.
