9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk

On Sunday, April 28, 2019, join with the Chair of the 7th annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk and Community Day, Jon Stewart, to support the 9/11 Memorial Glade, an evolution to the 9/11 Memorial. The Glade is dedicated to all who were injured, sickened or died as a result of their work or exposure to contaminants during the recovery operations that lasted for months at the World Trade Center site in the aftermath of 9/11.

It will also pay tribute to the courage, fortitude and perseverance of those who took part in the rescue and recovery efforts, and whose determined efforts paved the way to rebuilding and renewal.

Once again, the route begins in lower Manhattan and takes participants through scenic Battery Park with iconic views of One World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. The 5K Run/Walk finishes adjacent to the Memorial plaza where Community Day takes place, which is an event free and open to the public featuring activities and entertainment for all ages.
