The Alexandria Marathon is the largest running event in Alexandria, hosted annually by different running communities and sports organizations. Currently, ALEXRUNNERS has taken the lead in organizing the race, offering a full marathon (42K), half marathon (21K), 10K, 5K, 2K family and youth races, and a 500m kids' run. The iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina serving as both the starting and finishing point.

This marathon is more than just a race—it's an opportunity to experience Egypt’s coastal beauty, rich history, and vibrant running culture. Runners will enjoy a flat and fast course along the Mediterranean, making it ideal for both personal bests and first-time marathoners.
