AMOR 5Kale Yeah!

The AMOR 5k will be held on the beautiful grounds of the Woodland Nature Reserve. The non-paved course meanders around the lakes of the property with the start and finish at their picturesque beach area. Open to runners, walkers and people who love to be outside in nature. We also invite anyone that would like to join us to learn about AMOR's mission and meet some of our Sponsors & local Vendors. This plant-based event will have food, beer and live music so bring your blanket, chairs and friends. Our goal is to make this a zero waste event so bring your water bottle and beer mug too. All proceeds go to support AMOR's mission.  AMOR Healing Kitchen is a Charleston based non-profit empowering our youth while providing nutritious, plant-based meals to people experiencing a health crisis. We believe in the power of food, supporting local farmers, empowering teens and raising awareness regarding the connection between our food and our health.   FAQs Q. How much is registration?  A. The 5K registration is $35 for all participants no matter their age, price increases April 1 to $40.  Q. How much is the Kids .5k Fun Run? A. The Kids .5k run is FREE for kids under 10. Registration is required.  Q. What do the funds support?  A. The money raised supports AMOR Healing Kitchen’s mission to provide nutritious, plant-based meals prepared by Teen Volunteers to people experiencing a health crisis.  Q. How can I increase my support? A. Click Donate above and Become a Fundraiser! Ask your peers to sponsor your run or walk.  Q. Can I bring the family? A. Yes! The event will have live music, vendors, food trucks & treats for sale. We suggest you bring a blanket & chairs so you can chill in one of the most beautiful areas of Charleston.  Q. Can I walk the 5K?  A. Yes! Walkers are welcome. The course is in a beautiful, natural setting that makes for a perfect spot for a walk.  Q. Are strollers welcome? A. Yes! But we suggest an all-terrain stroller as the course is not paved.  Q. Are dogs welcome?  A. Yes! However, only as guests and not on the course.  Q. What does registration include?  A. Registration for the 5K includes: Pre-run/walk yoga, timed trail run, schwag bag for early registrants, snacks & water for participants (please bring your own water bottle). Prize baskets for top 3 female and top 3 male race winners and awards for age group winners. Q: Where can I pick up my race packet?  A. You can pick up your race packet on Friday, April 28th 4-7pm at AMOR Kitchen 2 Magnolia Road, 29407 and on race day from 8:30-9:30am at the Woodlands.  Q. Where do I park?  A.
