Athens Fair 5K Run/Walk

Join us for the popular Athens Fair 5K Run/Walk that takes place in downtown Athens as part of the Annual Athens Fair.    After cancelling last year's race during the pandemic, we're ready to bring back some excitement and anticipation by kicking off the registration months ahead of the event.  This year is the 12th running of the popular mid-summer run. The 5K starts at Memorial Park, (in front of the Beer Tent) routes through scenic Erbach Park trails and finishes at the North end of the Downtown Square by the IGA.  The race is made possible by the following organizations and businesses: 

Local businesses generously sponsor the giveaways including T-shirts, finish line snacks and beverages, water stops, and awards. Registration proceeds support the many activities of the Athens Fair Members of the Athens Area Trail Association manage the race. Donations can be made on the donation page to support the trails.
