Back the Blue K-9 1 Mile run

We are back for the third year for this race/walk. The route has changed but the fun hasn't. There will be 2 categories, runners/walkers and runners/walkers with dogs. Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners and the top five runners with dogs regardless of gender. A special award will be given to the 1st First Responder to cross the line in uniform. Age group awards will be given out at 10 year intervals. All participants will receive a finisher medal. The race begins in front of the amphitheater on Main Street and runs west to conclude in the amphitheater. It is a dog friendly event for a good cause and should not be missed. Feel free to bring your well behaved dog with you.

SouthCack Taproom will be serving an optional free beer for participants over the age of 21.

Pickens native Luke Duece will be performing.

Packet pickup is Thursday night 4:30-5:45pm Nov 9, 2022 near the race start at Pickens Chiropractic 108 West Main St office of Dr. Jennie Gettys

Tee shirts will be guaranteed for all registrants before Nov 1st. Registrations after Nov 1st will not receive a tee shirt  Tee shirts are short sleeve cotton tees. Tee shirts must be picked up at packet pickup.
