"Back With A Bang" Milltown Knights of Columbus 5K run

Thank you for your interest in the Milltown 4th of July Virtual 5K Race.

As the Covid 19 Virus has had a major impact on our daily lives and routines, many special events have been cancelled, postponed or significantly modified as well. As the Race is just one part of the Milltown 4th of July festivities which the Borough have cancelled, it is necessary that the Knight of Columbus cancel the physical Race as well. As the race is such a big community and regional event, we wanted to maintain the spirit of Race and provide you with the opportunity to participate in a virtual race. 

Please join us in supporting many local and area charities by participating in the Milltown Virtual 5K - Virtually Together.  From June 27th to July 11th participants can complete a 5K (3.1 miles) wherever you choose to safely complete run/walk.  You can run in your yard, in your home, on a street, on a treadmill, wherever it is convenient and safe to participate adhering to the health and safety guidelines in effect at the time of the race.  You can submit your time if you would like.  PLEASE send us a picture or short video of your run/walk while wearing the virtual bib so that we can post it on our website and show how we are coming "together, yet apart" in support of our many local and area charities.

-Milltown 4th of July Committee
-Milltown Little League
-Milltown Rescue Squad
-Food pantries in Milltown, North Brunswick and East Brunswick
-Life Choices of Metuchen
-Ozanam Men’s Shelter, New Brunswick
-Lion’s Club Thanksgiving meal program.
-Good Counsel Homes
-Coats for Kids
-Milltown Girl and Boy Scouts
-Spotswood High School Project Graduation
-Nicole Surace Scholarship Fund (Spotswood High School)
-And many others

Event Fees:

$ 25.00 includes 5K virtual race and a collectible T-Shirt *

$ 5.00 is for the 1 mile fun run, No T-Shirt included

$ 17.00 to purchase T-shirt only *

* T-Shirts will be available for pick-up in the parking lot of Our Lady of Lourdes Church later in July. Out of county registrants will have their T-Shirts mailed to them if they so desire. There will be a 2.00 charge to mail the shirt to help offset out costs.
