Cancerve, Inc., formerly known as “Baltimore Women’s Classic, Inc.”, is committed to improving the quality of daily life for female cancer patients as they undergo treatment by providing direct support services and education to women and their families through our local hospital partners across the state of Maryland.

We are dedicated to promoting fitness and healthy living for women while increasing public awareness of women’s health issues and hope to increase self-awareness to enhance the rate of early detection of cancer in women of all ages.

Cancerve relies on fundraising events like the Mercy Baltimore Women’s Classic 5K, as well as corporate and individual contributions, to provide essential services to patients undergoing cancer treatment through our partnerships with hospitals across the state.

Services include transportation to and from treatment; grocery shopping and meal preparation; house cleaning services; prescription drug co-payments; and recommended services that enhance the lives of patients.

More than 80,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer this year. These diagnoses will wreak havoc on thousands of families and neighborhoods. You can make a difference! The money we raise can provide essential services and peace of mind to women who need every ounce of energy to battle this deadly disease.

We take care of everyday matters when every day matters to these women.
