Båstad Marathon

Every year, Joy Runners löparklubb holds the Båstad Marathon on Bjärehalvön with the start and finish in Båstad. The competition takes place on the Saturday after Midsummer and has been running since 2010. The marathon and half-marathon routes offer fantastic views of the glittering ocean and lush summer foliage, which is why this race is often referred to as Sweden's most beautiful marathon. The center of the day will be at Båstad Harbour, and the half-marathon will have its start in Torekov. In addition to the traditional marathon race, the event also consists of a half-marathon, a relay race, and a children's contest. The relay race will be divided into 2-14 sections, with changes occurring at each water station.
