About the event
Experience all the beauty of fall in the Shenandoah Valley running in the area’s premier half marathon. At 13.1 miles the race is welcoming for casual runners but still provides a challenge for more seasoned participants. The starting line is located in historic Kernstown Battlefield with the majority of the course following scenic Middle Road and country roads through Frederick County. The race concludes with an exciting finish in Creekside Station.

The race starts inside the Kernstown Battlefield. The course will loop through the city before making its way back through the battlefield along the scenic views of Middle Road, Apple Valley Road, Shady Elm Road, Spring Dale Road, Germany Road, Middle Road before heading back to the battlefield grounds, finishing in Creekside.
