Who benefits?
Aslan Youth Ministries is an organization dedicated to helping children, one child at a time. Aslan is a non-profit organization headquartered in Red Bank, NJ serving urban youth and their families in Monmouth County. Aslan was founded in 1975 to work with Camp Shiloh, an organization serving disadvantaged children in 11 areas in and around New York City. In 1996, Aslan established an outreach in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, West Indies. With Aslan, teens from America traveling to Haiti each summer to run summer day camps for Aslan's children in Haiti. Aslan employs six full-time and one part-time staff member. Over 250 adults regularly volunteer their time and talents to serve as mentors, tutors, youth class teachers, board members, coaches, office helpers, bus drivers and valuable in-kind services in areas such as computer consulting, and pro-bono legal assistance.

8:00 - 11:25 am - Free Bag Check
Location: On the Oceanfont Promenade just north of the Ocean Place Resort Conference Center

9:00 - 11:15 am - Start Line Hydration Station Open
9:15 - 9:25 am - Free Group Dynamic Warm-up (lead by certified PT/Running Coach). Learn how to warm-up properly and practice before your race!
9:30 - 11:10 am - Race (Run/Walk)
Location: The Ocean Place Resort Conference Center
9:55 - 11:30 am - Post Race Food
10:15 am - Post Race Celebration party begins in the Seaview Bar inside the Ocean Place Resort or outside at the Tiki Bar (weather permitting).
11:00 am - Awards & Raffle Drawing (inside the Race Expo)
12:30 pm - Post Race Celebration party winds down in the Seaview Bar
Receive a Partial Refund By Referring Friends
For each two participants who use your special referral link to register you will automatically receive a refund of $4.00. Valid as long as your total current race registration fee does not fall below $20 after the refund.
Registration Fees
Please note: The event will be held in most weather conditions (Sun, Rain, Snow, Sleet) and the race registration fee is non-refundable. If the event is cancelled for any reason, the registration fee will not be refunded but will instead be credited, in part, to the next annual event.
Below are the race registration fees based upon the date you chose to register and information on our deferral policy.
Please note:
1) The registration provider (RunSignUp) adds an additional fee on top of our registration fee listed below, which pays for the service.
2) We provide a free Referral Program which will refund $4 to you for every two people who register using your personal referral code (your code is listed on your registration confirmation message). We also provide an easy way for you to share your code via Facebook and Twitter. If you have any questions about our referral program please send a message to: [email protected].

*2018 Race Deferral Program:
From 1/1/18 to 7/15/18 defer your 2018 registration until our 2019 race, for a $10.00 fee. Register early to save money and use the deferral program only if something comes up which keeps you from attending this year's race. Better than insurance as you only pay for it if/when you need it!
From 7/16/18 thru 9/30/18 the deferral fee will increase to $15 (we order the shirts and bracelets and charms in mid-July).
From 10/1/18 thru 10/25/18 deferral requests will only be accepted if accompanied by a note from a nationally certified medical practitioner stating that becaue of a current medical condition you will be unable to participate with us on race day.
