Big Day on Campus 5K & Walkathon

Celebrating 19 years of limitless community leadership and limitless movement in Cumberland County 

The Big Day on Campus is a fundraiser event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland that includes a new 5K through the CCTEC and RCSJ campuses or a walkathon on the CCTEC track.

SCHEDULE 8:15   Day of registration and pre-registered check-in opens 8:55   Last call for Walkathon signups 9:00   Walkathon begins on the track 9:10   Last call for 5K signups 9:15   5K begins 10:00  Awards (Top 3 M/F Overall and in Age Groups)

Bring friends and family in on the Big Day and support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cumberland through fundraising teams! Participants will receive special incentives for hitting fundraising tiers and the team that raises the most funds for BGC will be awarded at the Big Day! Create your fundraising team during the registration process.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland became a chartered member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2004 and has since grown to over 520 registered members attending programs at two sites in Vineland and at several area schools and community centers/family success centers throughout the county. The Club offers programs that empower youth and help to rebuild their integrity and self-esteem.  At the same time, it helps to reduce the community juvenile delinquency problem.  In essence, the Club shapes and saves children’s lives every day by providing a safe place to go after school and keeping youth involved in educational, healthy lifestyle, cultural, community service and fitness/recreational activities.

Second Capital Running is a boutique racing company operated out of Vineland, NJ since 2018 and is honored to work alongside Boys and Girls Club to bring another iconic event to Cumberland County.
