Bikes BBQ and John Brown

    Come join us for a fun-filled fall day. Start with an 18 mile (round trip to Rantoul) or 40 mile (round trip to Ottawa) bicycle ride on the scenic Flint Hills Trail. Start at Flint Hills Trail Mile Zero in Osawatomie, Kansas just 30 miles southwest of the KC Metro area and ride to Legacy Square in Ottawa, Kansas. Then visit John Brown Cabin State Historic site to learn about the "Cradle of the Civil War" and "Bleeding Kansas." The Border War BBQ Contest will be in full swing and your BBQ lunch will be waiting for you At THIRD SATURDAY Block Party in historic downtown. There you can grab your collectible John Brown Bikes and BBQ T-shirt. All of this is included in your entry fee.
