Block Party Breakaway 5K

It's all good in the Wood!

Join the Friendship Fire Company to kick off summer at their annual Memorial Day block party by running the first annual Block Party Breakaway 5K. Runners will start and finish at the Friendship Fire Company. The course will take runners through the streets of Frackville featuring mostly flat roads, short inclines, and finishing up the infamous 7th Street hill! Runners will be finishing just as the Sunday block party kicks off. Come for the run. Stay for the world famous bean soup and bleenies! 

Pre- Registered runners will receive a race shirt and $5 in food tickets (tickets are good for all food and beverages including beer). Entry fee and t-shirt cutoff is $30 until May 3rd. Price after May 3rd, including day of registration, will be $35. The Block Party Breakaway will feature 7 age categories, "Bulldog" division (men 225lbs +), First Responder Award , and a First Responder Team category (4 members at a discounted rate *All teammates must be a first responder).
