About the event
The 3rd Annual Bridges and Bluffs ½ Marathon and walk on Saturday, September 28th 2019 is held to raise funds to support management and maintenance of the local section of the Michigan Iron Belle Trail.
The race consists of a half marathon, 2 person half marathon relay team and a 2 mile run/walk option. The main event happenings and race start will take place at the beautiful Ironwood Depot Park. The race course will take runners along the paved Iron Belle Trail over the impressive bridges with views of the areas bluffs. To top off the event we expect the fall foliage to be at its peak!
Race Times
The 1/2 Marathon and Relay will begin promptly at 9:00am with the 2 mile run/walk beginning at 9:30am
Registration and Packet Pick-up
You may register online via this site or paper registrations and packet pick-up will be held Friday September 27th, 6-8pm at Cold Iron Brewing, downtown Ironwood, MI.
Prizes
Half Marathon: Age Groups 12-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80+ (1st overall and 1st male, 1st Female in each age group)
Relay Division: (1st Overall and 1st male, 1st female, 1st mixed)
2 mile run/walk: Age Groups 12-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80+ (Awards only for 1st male, 1st Female)
