Get ready to celebrate Mother's Day in a whole new way!  In celebration of Mom's everywhere come join us at Proctor Park for a 5k Walk/Run! Since Mom is busy putting her feet up on Mother's Day weekend, we're celebrating the weekend after! The race will start & end at the baseball field in the middle of TR Proctor Park. Registration is $30. Each participant will receive some Mother's Day 5k Swag PLUS everyone will receive a Mother's Day rose at the finish line provided by Chester's Flower Shop & Greenhouse!. ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS THURSDAY 5/12 AT MIDNIGHT.  In person registrations are available at our packet pickup times/locations Friday and Saturday.  Credit Card only - no cash sales

 

Thea Bowman House: Donations will go towards assisting the Thea Bowman House located in Utica, NY.  Their mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment to enable culturally diverse children and families to achieve their full potential. They are also looking for children's summer clothes of all sizes, as well as diapers size 4 or 5.  We will be accepting these donations on-site at the packet pickup building on race day as well! Top Finishers: Top Finisher Certificates will be given out to top finishers in each age level, split into male/female categories. Age levels: 1-15
15-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+ Although we are giving out certificates to our top finishers, we want this to be a fun event for all!  That means if you want to walk, you can walk!  If you want to jog, you can jog! This is a "go at your own pace" event.  No matter when you finish, you'll still receive your swag bag before the race plus a rose at the end of the race.

 

Other Information: Race starts at 10:30am. This isn’t just a race for moms!  It’s a race for the whole family!  Dads, brothers, sisters, anyone can join! Parking is available on-site inside TR Proctor on either side of the Baseball fields.  If lots are full, please park on side streets. The race will be capped at 850 participants. Although it is mostly an asphalt course, there will be short instances of trail running.  Because of this, this course is not wheelchair accessible. All persons who are walking/running must be registered.  Children below the age of 3 who will be in a stroller do not need to be registered. Although we love our furry friends, please leave them home for this race!  Dogs or other animals will not be allowed on the course. Course will close at Noon. Top finisher certificates will be mailed.  We will not be holding an award ceremony. We will not be providing refunds for canceled registrations. This is a rain or shine event!

May 14th (Race Day):  9:00am- 10:30am at the starting line by the baseball field in the middle of TR Proctor Park
