Run for Camp 5K Trail Run & Walk - MI

Camp Henry is raising money to send kiddos to camp. Camp has a long history and major commitment to making a summer camp experience accessible to all children and families – regardless of their ability to pay. Over the past ten years we have provided over $1 million in scholarship assistance to make summer camp a reality for families in financial need. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from an amazing, positive, loving, fun-filled, and life changing Christian camping experience. 

 

Ways to Participate: 1. Register as a runner or walker! 3.1 miles is a breeze!
2. Become a fundraiser: friends and family can donate
towards your fundraiser!
3. Sponsor the event: we need sponsors!
4. Simply donate: no need to break a sweat.
5. Volunteer: a less sweaty option, but still needed!
6. Share! Tell everyone you know (yes, everyone)

Event Information:
The 2024 Run for Camp 5K is back again this Fall! We are excited to welcome runners and walkers to Camp Henry. Can't make it? No problem! Register for the Virtual option, and you choose your place to rock the 3.1 miles!

The 5K Trail Run & Walk will provide you the opportunity to take in the sights that Camp Henry has to offer as you wind through scenic trails on Camp Henry's 212 acres. Trails are well marked, and natural obstructions, like roots, are spray painted for safety.

Pricing for 2024: Under 18 - $20 | Over 18 - $30

Family Fun: Bring your friends and family for the race and enjoy activities and food after the race.  

Dogs Welcome: Dogs must be on a leash the entire time of the event. Runners/Walkers with dogs will also start the race after participants without dogs. Please be prepared to clean up after your dog as well.

Camp Swag: Each walker/runner registered by August 30th will get a Camp Henry Run for Camp 5K shirt. 

Fundraiser Camp Swag: Each participant is encouraged to be a Fundraiser for Camp. We hope that each participant can raise at least $100. Some may be able to raise $1,000 or more. The more money we raise, the more kids we can get into camp. Don't want to participate in the 5k? That's ok - you can become a fundraiser without walking or running to earn swag - and get more kids to camp. Every dollar raised will go toward the Camp Henry Summer Scholarship Fund. Do it for the kids!

Raise $1,000: Earn a Camp Henry Blanket
