Camp Quality's Hero for a Day 5k

Bueche's Food World of Flushing is hosting the 7th Annual Camp Quality's Hero for a Day 5k run/walk! We are celebrating the hero inside everyone while supporting the local charity Camp Quality. The race course starts on the Riverview Trail, does a lap in the beautiful Flushing County Park, and finishes at the starting location next to Bueche's. The entire path is paved and stroller/wheelchair friendly.

Group/Family pricing: Register 3 or more people at the same time and receive $3 off per person.

Schedule of events:

Costume contest begins at 9:30am

The 5k run will start at 10:00 am.

The 5k walk will start at 10:02 am.

The 1 mile non-competitive run (for ages 14 years and under) will start at 10:30 am.

The 1/2 mile non-competitive run (for ages 9 years and under) will start at 10:32 am.

Awards to overall male and female winners, overall male and female master winners, and to the top 3 females and males in each age group. Awards also to the best dressed individual and group superheroes! All kids participating in the non-competitive fun runs will receive a finishing medal.

AGE GROUPS – RUNNERS:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over

AGE GROUPS – WALKERS:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

COSTUME AWARDS:
Awards will be handed out for the best individual and group hero costumes. Costumes will be judged at 9:30am the morning of the race!

T-shirt guarantee date: Shirts will be subject to availability after early registration ends on September 1st.

Packet pick up and late registration will take place at Bueche’s Food World - 300 W Main St., Flushing, MI
48433 on Saturday, September 7th from Noon - 3pm. There also will be late registration and packet pick up on race
day starting at 8:30am.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
