Camp Quality's Hero for a Day 5k

WE ARE BACK IN PERSON!! This year we will have a soft start (30 minute window) from 10-10:30 am on Sunday, September 12th, 2021. This will allow runners/walkers to start in smaller groups and to spread out. We will also be offering the virtual 5k all month long, as well as the 100 mile virtual challenge. We hope to see you again this year, in-person!

Previously known as Camp Quality's Hero for a Day 5k. We had 7 amazing years of being Heroes for a Day, but we are ready to shift our focus to the main reason we hold this race. September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and spreading knowledge about the statistics, the funding, and the support these kids need is our priority. All our supporters and participants have been our heroes for the past 8 years now and we cannot wait to celebrate you and our amazing kids this September!

We will be displaying our memorial/tribute signs from the 2019 & 2020 course and any new ones that want to be purchased on our usual course of the Riverview trail and Flushing County park the weekend of September 10-12th. Of course, you can also complete this virtual 5k on your treadmill or in your neighborhood.  We look forward to (virtually) running with you this September!

Race packets will be sent the first week in September. After the start of the race, packets will be sent out weekly. 

Group/Family pricing: Register 3 or more people at the same time and receive $3 off per person.

19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
