The Canine Classic is a trail hike/run for you and your dog(s) through the scenic trails at Paws Up! Participants can choose from chip-timed Half-Marathon or 5-Mile races! Dogs are welcome and encouraged to participate* and can do so off leash on these trap-free lands!

 The run takes you on mostly designated trails and some dirt roads. Runners can expect uneven trails especially through pasture area.

After the race enjoy a gourmet BBQ lunch prepared by the amazing team at Paws Up, including delicious food, beer & wine and live music. All race entries include one lunch coupon, a swag bag, and the opportunity to win some great prizes! Additional lunch coupons can be purchased for $10 during online race registration.

Event proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Western Montana.

9:10 am Timed Half-Marathon (with dogs)

9:30 am Timed 5-Mile check in

10:00 am Timed 5-Mile (without dogs)

10:10 am Timed 5-Mile (with dogs)

10:00-11:00am 5-Mile and 2-Mile hikes

12:00 pm Lunch!

*HSWM and The Resort at Paws Up encourage runners to talk with their vets before racing with their dogs.
