Carrollton Half Marathon

The inaugural Carrollton Half Marathon presented by Tanner Health System will take place on September 7, 2019. The 13.1 mile course will take you from Carrollton's Historic Adamson Square, through city proper and nearly 9 smooth miles over shaded, rolling hills on the city’s new multi-use bike/running path, the GreenBelt. The beautiful route finishes back at Adamson Square for a finish line festival not to be missed, featuring live music, local food vendors, and beer from local craft breweries.

Register individually to take on the race or be a part of a 2, 3, or 4 person relay team! This course makes a great event for first timers, those looking for a half marathon personal best, or an end-of-summer tune up for fall marathon season.

Registration includes an inaugural Carrollton Half Marathon T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and free food and drink tickets to the post-race festivities.

Awards

The West Georgia Track Club will present awards for the inaugural half marathon. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall Male and Female runners. They will also receive a commemorative plaque and glass beer stein. 1st place Male and Female in the Masters category will be presented with a commemorative plaque and glass beer stein. The top 3 in each age group and top 3 teams in the relay categories will receive the commemorative glass beer stein as a prize. All finishers will be given a Finisher’s medal.
