Chasing the Sun

It's our 10-year race anniversary and we can't wait to Chase the Sun with you! 

Presented by the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce and the New Lenox Community Park District, the Chasing the Sun 5K benefits educational scholarships and programs provided by both organizations. This year's race/fitness walk offers a 5k certified course starting and finishing in The Commons with a post-race family-friendly party to follow!  This race is timed and scored by T&H Timing. 

T-Shirts:

To guarantee a race shirt in your size, you must register by Wednesday, May 10, 2023.All participants in the 5k (13 and over) will receive a T-Shirt (while supplies last)Junior Runner and Kids Racer registrations has the option to purchase a t-shirt for an additional $10.

Packet / BIB Pick-Up:
Race bibs, runner swag bags & shirts will be available for pick-up on race day, Thursday, June 1, 2023, in New Lenox Village Commons starting at 6 PM. 

Race Details:

The race will begin promptly at 7 PM.We ask that runners with strollers and walkers line up towards the back.The race starts and finishes in Village Commons.A post-race party will take place in the Commons. Runners will receive a free slice of pizza.
