Chesapeake Bataan Death March Run/Walk

Join us on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Chesapeake for an event like no other. The Chesapeake Bataan Death March Run/Walk will be held to honor and remember all those who endured one of the most harrowing events in US and Filipino history. Our goal is to educate today's generation on the sacrifices of the greatest generation.

The Run/Walk is comprised of three distances:
- 16.6 miles
- 5 miles
- 1 mile

16.6 Mile Run

T-Shirts, Medals and Awards
- Runners who register before April 7 will receive running tech shirts. 
- Runners who register before April 7 will receive finisher medals.

Top 1 Heavy Division- Male (carrying 35lbs or more): Trophy
Top 1 Heavy Division- Female (carrying 35lbs or more): Trophy
Top 1 Light Division Military Male: Trophy
Top 1 Light Division Military Female: Trophy
Top Military Branch Winner*: Trophy

5 Miles
Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers: Trophy

1 Mile
Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers: Trophy

*Top Military Branch Winner will be based on the average time of the first three finishers of each military branch.

Registration Reminders
- Online Registration closes on 7:00 PM on Friday, April 20, 2018.
- You may also register in-person at the Packet Pick-Up Area on Friday, April 20, 2018 or on Race Day, April 21, 2018.
