Chris "CJ" Johnson 11th Annual 5K Global Virtual/In-Person Run/Walk

Chris “CJ” Johnson Foundation's primary focus is on individuals with sickle hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell trait (SCT), who may face the risk for renal medullary carcinoma (RMC), a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer. Through various programs, we aim to educate, raise awareness, and advocate for greater understanding, ultimately working towards a cure for RMC. Additionally, the foundation contributes annually to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, supporting the advancement of RMC research.

Our mission is to form a global community dedicated to increasing awareness and addressing health disparities for RMC patients through advocacy, education and research. We envision a future where all RMC patients have access to leading institutions conducting cutting-edge research.

Our vision is to eliminate health disparities and discover a cure for renal medullary carcinoma (RMC).

5K FUN RUN/WALK / 3-MILE WALK

WHEN: Saturday, March 23, 2024,

Virtual anytime between 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
In-Person – 08:30 – 1:00pm (Begin promptly at 8:30am)

WHERE: Virtual – Run/Walk anywhere you choose | In Person – Sugar Land Memorial Park (15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land, Texas 77479)

ENTRY FEE: $30/person (Includes T-Shirt) Additional Fee $5.00/shirt (If you want your shirt mailed)

Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult and may walk free. Shirts may be purchased for children – $15.

Registration must be paid by February 15, 2024, to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
