About This Event: The American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) & Colonial Road Runners (www.colonialrunners.org) are proud to present The 18-th Annual Christopher's 5-K Run & Walk For Diabetes, which is a community and charitable event that supports the mission of the American Diabetes Association: To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. This event has become a South Shore, MA Memorial Day classic!

The Course: The 3.1 mile race is run on FAST paved roads, along a loop through the scenic town of West Bridgewater. Race starts in front of Friendship Park (Howard Street). Mostly flat course, ideal for a PR. Race is well marked and staffed by officials to direct you. Race is professionally timed by Colonial Road Runners. Results will be posted to our website and also to “coolrunning.com”.

Amenities: Collectible, must-have 18-th annual tee shirts to the FIRST 200 pre-registered 5-k Runners & Walkers (MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE MAY 1st). NOTE: NO T-Shirts for Kids Fun Run: Sorry! Professionally Timed, with Mile Markers and (1) Water Station on the Course. Quality Post-Race Refreshments. High quality awards. Onsite DJ and playground for the kids.

Kid's Fun Run: Starts at 9:45am and consists of an approximately 1/2 mile fun run which is open to all children 3-12 years old. Fee is $8.00 if you register BEFORE May 1st..... $10 registration after May 1st - and for day of race entries. Ribbons & full refreshments to all participants. Must have parent's permission. ****Sorry NO TEE-SHIRTS for Kid's Fun Run****

Awards: High Quality Awards for Male and Female Overall and Division Winners.... Divisional awards will be: 1-st, 2-nd, 3-rd. Divisions: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ ((Special Award for ALL Diabetic Finishers)).
