About the event
Join us for our inaugural, sustainable 30 mile bike tour, in Wild Horse Plains, while visiting farms, in the forests, and along the banks of the river, in Western Montana.
You will ride through the sunlit shadows of the trees, and along the banks of the Clark Fork River, passing the farm meadows where agriculture has lived for generations.
Along the way are stops at sustainable farms featuring local foods, and a timber mill.
The tour will end at our “last of the best” fairgrounds, where a locally grown and sources meal awaits.
The ride will be on rural paved roads (no gravel) with some gentle inclines. There is little to no cell service along this route.
The registration fee includes your ride, local food from local farms and producers, and a commemorative t-shirt.
Check-in starts at 7:00am, and we will have coffee ready. The ride begins at 7:30am. Please eat before arrival. Each farm stop will have a light snack.
End the day at our historic fairgrounds for a farm-to-table lunch, and local agricultural
market.
Our goal is for a low-waste event, so please bring your own mugs, and cups to use at stops and
at lunch.
Cannot wait to see you in August! Help us make this an annual event supporting agriculture,
and rural communities.
**Not a cyclist, but want to support our event? Join us for just the farm-to-table lunch! We can also discuss accessibility options for those wanting to participate in the ride but physically unable to do so.
