Upstate Ultra welcomes you to the 4th annual CONQUER THE ROCK race series that is held in beautiful Table Rock State Park. Table Rock State Park fits the bill for the natural beauty. The towering mountain, which gives the park its name, serves as a backdrop for the 3,000 acre park. Below this section of the Blue Ridge Mountains, South Carolina natives and visitors can enjoy Table Rock State Park cabins, a campground and an old-fashioned swimming hole on one of the park’s two lakes. The Conquer the Rock Ultra includes the Foothills 50k and the Bear Crawl 15 mile event with a pure, gritty, and natural feel that nestles itself in the heart of the foothills trail. The race offers two distances that encompass a 15+ mile loop within the state park.  Events Foothills 50k: Starts @ 7:00am Bear Crawl 25k: Starts @ 9:00am Self Service Pancakes and Syrup: Starts @ 1pm Park Closes at 9pm (Gate Closes) All Runners must be off the trail at Dusk (6:30pm) Finishers Awards Include: Finishers Patch Finishers Pancake Top 3 Overall Awards Male and Female Point Series for Top 10 in Overall and Age Group Aid Stations 3 aid stations per loop Salt, crackers, cookies, pickles, candy Water, Tailwind, and Soda Cupless Event so please have hydration carrying bottle Packet Pickup Thursday Shakeout Run Sponsor Store Greenville, SC Friday Pinnacle Barn 2pm-6pm Saturday Pinnacle Barn 6:15am - 7:00am 50k Saturday Pinnacle Barn 8:00am - 9:00am 25k Cut off Due to the nature of this course and difficulty of the distance we have strict cutoff polocies The park will close at 9pm  and the sun sets at 7pm so we are implementing a 11 hour cut off. Runners in the 50k MUST start their 2nd and final loop by Noon.  Any one that comes in after noon will be dropped to the 25k distance and awarded that lap time
