Cross the Street - 5K

Cross the Street presents it's first ever 5K race! The proceeds of this race will go to furthering our mission of improving the lives of inner-city youth. So often, members of inner-cities are not able to reach their full potential simply because of lack of resources, the absence of positive role models and a lack of opportunities for them to matter and grow into productive citizens in their communities. Cross the Street promotes a sense of pride and self-worth by helping to combat these very issues present in today's society. We are a nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster positive changes in the lives of inner-city youth throughout the Washington D.C. and New York City metropolitan areas . This is done through volunteering, mentoring, providing resources as well as educational support.
