DASK - ANATOLIAN MOUNTAIN MARATHON is an adventure competition in nature organised by DASK (Nature Research, Outdoor Sports and Rescue Society) since 2000.
It is a two days competitive event for teams of two, by carrying their tent, sleeping bag, meal, water etc . (The Minimum Equipment list is attached).
At the start of each day teams are presented with a course of varying numbers of check points which identified by coordinates on the map.
They must visit each check points in the prescribed order but may choose their own route by using compass and map in the nature between each check points (Approx. %60-80 of the routes do not have even a rough path.; pure nature)
The courses are planned using the outdoor country map scale 1:25.000, and this map and the coordinates of the check points are given to every team at the start of each day.
