Dirty Duathlon

The Dirty Duathlon and MTB race is returning to McKenzie Ranch and its fast and smooth trails. McKenzie Ranch Trails Park is a 1,700-acre natural open space park located on the far east side of Pima County and north of Marsh Station Road. Riders will complete both Lozen (north) Loop and Dahtest (south) Loop on the McKenzie Ranch competitive race course. (If you plan to go practice before the event, please ride clockwise and pay attention when merging back onto the North Loop. It is the responsibility of all non-bike riders in all directions and riders traveling the opposite direction to yield to those riding clockwise.) Photos of the course can be found on TrailForks.

The course is safe for the first timer yet challenging enough for the experienced.

Duathlon Distances

Run 1 - 4.4 mile loop (Dahteste Loop and down Lozen Link (clockwise) 

Ride - 9.7 mile mountain bike course (Dahteste Loop plus Lozen Loop (clockwise) 

Run 2 - 1.7 mile trail (Lozen Link plus lower section of Lozen Loop (clockwise)

MTB Distances

19.4 Miles (two loops)

9.7 Miles (one loop)

What Do You Get

All participants will receive a Dirty Du trucker hat and custom finisher's medal.

Finish line food.

USA Triathlon Sanctioned

Duathlon Participants must have an annual USAT membership or buy a 1-day license ($15). 

MTB Participants will be required to sign a USAT waiver, but you do NOT have to purchase a one day license. 

Awards

Duathlon Awards will be by gender in five-year age groups: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, and so forth.
