Driftless 100

This is a tough and scenic gravel race through the hills of Clayton County, Iowa. The race will start and end in Volga, Iowa. The route will include level-B roads and a small water crossing. It is a hilly course with more than 10,000 feet of climbing in the 105 mile course. The race will be self-supported with 3 checkpoints for the 105 mile course, 1 checkpoint for the 50 mile course and no checkpoints for the 25. Checkpoints will have limited aid for emergency and are intended to check the status for riders as they navigate the race.


Any tire size or style of bike is allowed with the exception of e-bikes. GPS Navigation will be posted a week or two before the race as well as cue cards. There will be limited course marking, therefore you will want your own navigation. All proceeds from entry fees will go towards the development of the Volga City Opera House.
