Duryea at Dusk 5k

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Duryea at Dusk has opted to hold our 5k run and 1 mile walk virtually again this year. This will allow everyone to safely participate while still supporting the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. Sign-ups will be available until June 5th, 2021 which would have been the date of our annual event. You will then be able to run or walk either event and submit your times from June 5th through June 12th.

You can participate in these events anywhere - in your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or on the track. You can continue with the theme of our event and run/walk at dusk, or anytime of the day! It is totally up to you.

5k runners - Use an app or watch to track your distance/time and then take a picture of your results and email them to [email protected]. A cash prize of $50 will be awarded to the top male and top female finisher (13 and over) and top boy and top girl finisher (12 and under). Results picture must clearly show distance and time.

The cost to register will be $15, or $25 with a custom Duryea at Dusk t-shirt. We will be holding a safe, social distanced t-shirt pick-up at Community Park on Stephenson Street. In order to guarantee you can pick up your t-shirt on June 4th, you must be registered by May 21st. You may still register and order t-shirts after this date, however the shirt may come in during or after race week and we will hold a separate pick-up date. If you cannot make it to the pick-up event, we are willing to make other arrangements.

Each participant in both the run and walk will receive a custom Duryea at Dusk virtual bib that can be printed out and worn while you are running/walking, if you wish. The bibs will have "I run for ..." and "I walk for ..." respectively for the 5k run and 1 mile walk. Let us know who you are running or walking for.
