Ecomaratona del Collio Brda

Credit : Ecomaratona del Collio The italian Marco Visintini won the last edition of Collio-Brda Ecomarathon, a 46 km trail race, in 3h21’44’’. Moretton Andrea was the second with 3h27’44’’ and the third place was for two ultramarathoners: Ivan Zufferli and Marco Cicigoi that end the race in 3h38’10’’. The champion Romanin Paola was the first woman that arrived in Cormons in 4h03’50’’. Kornijenko Alionka and Manuela D’Andrea finished in 4h14’12’’ and 4h21’51’’. The hungarian Jozsa Gabor and the Italian Pugnetti Marta was the fastest runners in the path of 22 km. Credit : Ecomaratona del Collio About 2.500 runners crossed Italian and slovenian border, through different paths placed in the Collio, region placed in the north part of Italy and est part of Slovenia. “The new path is really really nice” said Paola Romanin “passing through the biggest vinery of Slovenia was incredible.”
