Elkton Butterfly Run

There's a new format for this year's 5K family-friendly Butterfly Run/Walk, including bursts of color along the scenic route. The course starts at ECEC's native plant garden, winds through Elkton on the riverwalk trail, crosses Elk Creek then returns to ECEC. Run or walk along the banks of the Umpqua River and celebrate through clouds of color, created at stations throughout the course by our enthusiastic volunteers. There will be bypass lanes at each site for runners who want to skip the color clouds. Participants in the event are encouraged to wear eye protection.
