Feet Across Riverwood 5k

Soak Up the Florida Sunshine and Enjoy a 5K Run/Walk in the Beautiful Riverwood Golf Community on Saturday March 12, 2022! A Dog and Stroller Friendly, Fund-Raising Event in Support of Project Detect.

THE CAUSE: All proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk go to Project Detect, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization based in the Riverwood Community of Port Charlotte; which is managed entirely through the volunteer efforts of Riverwood residents.

Project Detect's mission is to raise funds to provide early-detection cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured adults in Charlotte County.

All fund-raising efforts go to the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic in Port Charlotte and the Englewood Community Care Clinic: along with other Port Charlotte facilities that qualify for receipt of funds, based on the charity's mission.

Day of run/walk check in and registration starting at 7:00am ending at 7:45 - Run/walk starts at 8:00am

IMPORTANT!!!!! Please be there on the early side as each car will have to go through security when they enter the neighborhood. 

Packet pick up will be available in the clubhouse for those who live in the neighborhood on Friday, if you need your packet early and do not live in the neighborhood, please contact this race to set up access for the security gate.
