Firkin 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Description:

Variety - The Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley is hosting the "Firkin 5k". This event features a course that runs through White's Road Park and neighborhood streets in Lansdale, PA. 

The race starts at White's Road Park. Registration begins at 8:45 A.M and the race begins at 10:00 A.M. This is a chip-timed event! Each will have runner will receive a swag bag and the first 200 to register get a tech shirt.  Each participant age 21 and over will receive a token for a beer at Lansdale's Oktoberfest (also in White's Road Park) which begins as the race ends.

Course description:

Race is mostly through quiet neighborhood streets. Runners will start and end at Whites Road Park.

Awards info:

Overall and age groups, Top 1-3 male and female in each group: 18 & under; 19-24; 25-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 & up.

Individual awards. Children with disabilities at Variety Club Camp make the gold, silver and bronze medals for race winners.

Additional info:

Race ends at Whites Road Park where Lansdale Oktoberfest at 11:00 a.m.

One beer token will be given to participants age 21 and over for Oktoberfest.

Packet pickup:

Race packets can be picked up on Race day at 8:45 a.m. at Whites Road Park.

Registration info:

Event registration fees includes a Firkin 5k Tshirt to first 200 registered.
