About the event
The 10K and half marathon race courses are beautiful and challenging consisting mostly of hiking trails (including the Bull Run Occoquan Trail), horse trails, and old dirt roads. This course is epic! Competitors will run over rocks and roots, through several shallow streams, and up (and down) some quad burning hills. Fountainhead Regional Park is situated along the banks of the Occoquan Reservoir in Western Fairfax County in Northern Virginia.
