Freakeee 5K

5K Race through Ripley sponsored by Waybright Funeral Home.  You may want to dress for the occasion as the best runner's costume will receive a gift certificate.  Fastest runners in both the women's and men's divisions will will $100.  The event starts and ends at behind the Alpine Theatre in Ripley where the awards ceremony will take place.  Be sure and stay for hotdogs on the grill and drinks afterwards.  Participants eat for free.  Nonparticipants get the meal deal for $5.  FREE T-Shirts will go to the 1st 50 runners.  

Alzheimers Association will be sponsoring a walk just after the runners leave so your non-running spouse or significant other can still get in a brisk fall walk while runners run.  This is the 3rd race in the new 4 Season Race Series sponsored by Main Street Ripley.
