Freedom 5K Fun Run

Join us July 4th for our 8th Annual Freedom 5K Fun Run at Heritage Park. Bring out the whole family and don't forget to tell all your friends!
Main Street Gardnerville has partnered with Wreath's Across America to honor all 218 Military Veterans laid to rest at Garden Cemetery. This year $5.00 from every registration will go towards purchasing a wreath for these Veterans.

Pre-Registration Fees:
Runners: 10 & Under: FREE
Runners: 11 & Up: $25.00
Runners: Military / Veterans: $20.00
Virtual Race: $15.00

Virtual racers will have from June 20th to July 4th to complete the race.

Registration Begins at 7:00am
Location: The run will start and finish at Heritage Park in Gardnerville on the Ezell Street side of the park. (1447 Courthouse Alley)
Race Begins at 8:00am... RAIN or SHINE!

We recommend all walkers stay to the middle of the pack and those with strollers or leashed dogs at the back to allow runners the space they need for a good run without obstacles. Thank you.

Dogs are welcome to join the fun, please make sure they are not aggressive, are current on their vaccinations, and child/dog friendly. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES AND WILL BE POSITIONED AT THE BACK OF THE STARTING PACK. PRIZE BREAKDOWN: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers will receive a trophy. All participants will receive running medals.
