Freedom 5k - Molalla

The Freedom 5K is a 3.1 mile race that mirrors the entire Grand Street parade route just before the parade starts.  This race is designed for both the serious athlete seeking a PR, as well as individuals and families just looking for a fun experience on the 4th of July.  Aside from the thrill of having people to cheer you on as you accomplish your goal, the race also takes you through historic downtown Molalla, and provides a great way to see our community. 

Currently, as of March 29th, Clackamas county is in the 'moderate' risk category, which allows for 150 in person racers at our live event.  If our county moves to 'low' risk, we will be able to open our cap up to 300 live in person racers according to the Oregon state's governor guidance for races and outdoor events.  However, if risk levels increase to 'high' or 'extreme' or if our permits get pulled, the entire race will become 100% virtual.
