Friends on the Run

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month come Run and/or Walk with us for our 6th Annual Friends On The Run/Walk!

  This is a Fundraiser for Friends In Pink which is a nonprofit organization helping individuals diagnosed with Breast Cancer. 

 We are inviting you to join and/or form a Team in honor of someone that you know that is and/or has dealt with Breast Cancer!

Race Date:  Saturday, October 30, 2021

Registration:       $30 Adults, $20  children under 12    9/2/2021 until 10/29/2021 …$5 additional day of

Times:   8AM - Run    8:15 Walk

Location: Manayunk Tow Path - Start & Finish at Green Lane to Shawmont Turnaround

(Parking available for a limited number of people at 114 Green Lane.

Friends In Pink 5K Run/Walk is an event to promote awareness about Friends In Pink and raise much needed funds to assist those dealing with Breast Cancer.

Important to Note:  Due to the damage on the Manayunk Tow Path from Hurricane Ida, multiple discussions with Fairmount Park personnel regarding how long it will take to clear the Tow Path and attempting to walk the route we made a decision to postpone the Friends On The Run/Walk until Saturday October 30 to ensure that the area is safe to run and walk on.  If you registered for the 10/2 date you were notified by email of the change of date.  If you have any questions and/or concerns please feel free to contact us.
