Organised simultaneously with the Marathon, the Half-Marathon offers a more urban route of 21,097 km in the heart of Geneva. The course is close to the water and allows you to run alongside the lake, the Rhone, but also gives you the opportunity to admire the inescapable Geneva Jet d'Eau !
The participants will dive into the heart of the roads and discover the token monuments of Geneva (the water-jet, the flower clock, the Mont-Blanc Bridge…). They will then run along the Rhône and will finally cross the finish line in the heart of the city.

This new event launched in 2010 by the Geneva Marathon for Unicef is a 5 km race dedicated to women. It will take place on Saturday 3rd May and will take the ladies on a route in the heart of Geneva. All female runners will receive an exclusive 'La Genevoise' T-shirt when entering this race.

The Relay Marathon, in which teams of 6 runners cover the full marathon distance – 42.195km - as a relay. Tthe Relay Marathon follows the same spectacular route as the Marathon, combining Geneva’s beautiful lake-side scenery with an Alpine backdrop and the city’s main sites. The relay marathon is open to all participants aged 14 and over.

Bernard Too outpaced more then 1876 runners to win in 02:09:45. Shumi Dechasa earned runner-up honours with a time of 02:09:55. The third place went to Luke Kibet with a time of 02:11:52
In the women’s race, Josephine Chepkoech took top honours by finishing the race in 02:29:11 . Rodah Jepkorir earned runner-up honours with a time of 02:29:15. Rounding out the top three was Bashanke Bilo with a time of 02:31:26.

Tesfay Felfele grinded past more than 4949 runners to win in 01:06:12, followed by Aloïs Moutardier who finished with a time of 01:07:48. Kidane Solomon (01:08:09) made notched third place.
In the ladies race, Imogen Simmonds scored victory with a time of 01:20:33 . Aline Camboulive earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:23:00. Finishing third was Victoria Crawford (01:23:58).
