Hamilton Princess and Goslings present Rum to the Beach!

This NEW event is the  kick-off event of the New Year

The Rum to Beach Race includes a running event, a competitive walking category and a Non Competitive Run/Walk. All are 7.13 miles in distance.

SUNDAY 8th JANUARY 2023 @ 9:00am (8:30am Competitive Walkers and Non-Competitive Run/Walk)

CHARITY: Women's Resource Centre

The Women’s Resource Centre (WRC) is a non-profit charity whose mission is to enhance the lives of women in Bermuda. The vision of WRC is to be the leading resource and voice for women in Bermuda

CATEGORIES and PRIZES:

There is a prize for the 1st Princess Employee and Goslings Employee in the running division.

1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female in age group open category 16-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ & 1st 70+ Male & Female. 

1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female Walker.

ROUTE:

7.13 miles. Start at Goslings, Dundonald St., Hamilton,  left onto Cedar Avenue and down Burnaby St., along Front Street then along East Broadway, The Lane, Harbour Rd, Burnt House Hill, Middle Rd, up Lighthouse Hill, finish at Hamilton Princess Beach Club

Entry Fee: Runners and Walkers

Run and Competitive Walk: $30 Current MAAC Members, $35 All Others, $40 Late Entries, $8 for Gold Members of MAAC. (For these Competitive events, the entry fee automatically includes $8 per entry as your mandatory registration with the BNAA)

Non-Competitive Run/Walk: $25 Current MAAC Members, $30 All Others, $35 Late Entries. Free for Gold Members of MAAC (As this is a Non-Competitive event there is no mandatory BNAA Registration Fee)

NUMBER PICK UP: Goslings (Dundonald St.)

Race Numbers will be distributed prior to race day at Goslings shop and warehouse on Dundonald St. from 11:30am to 1pm on Saturday.

Courtesy of Goslings, there will be a wine tasting at Number Pick Up

 

Light refreshments at the finish for participants ONLY.

 

NO STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS EVENT.
